I decided to design the blog Digital Modesty for my digital rhetoric course.  

As a college student, I find that many of my peers freely post pictures and comments online without thinking through the possible consequences.  Because many college students are preparing to enter the professional world, I believe it is important for college students to consider what they are posting on the internet.  

A silly Facebook photo or raunchy comment may be taken out of context. 

A silly Facebook photo or raunchy comment may be seen by the wrong person.

With the internet rapidly evolving, and social networking rapidly taking off, we must be our own digital gatekeepers.
